Buying Groceries for Subang Students

We are so proud of our volunteers who represented iSurvived Subang to support 38 college students in need here in the Subang Jaya area with their grocery shopping. Every one made their own way from their home nearby and met in small groups at the hypermart at a designated time.

Then they were given a budget and sent off individually to get what they needed. We thought it could be better, where possible, to do this rather than to give them pre-determined bags or baskets. Our team leader met them at the cashier to help settle the bill and bid them farewell after a quick we-fie.

There’s good news even in bad times – and there’s more good news to come! A little goes a long way and we can make a difference one life at a time. #isurvivedsubang – powered by friendships.
